The Seahog Shortie is an underrated vessel in our opinion. Renowned for its compact design and excellent performance in various sea conditions along with a very generous deck space, the Shortie offers an impressive platform for fishing.
Due to the smaller cuddy and its low profile, we have designed and built a radar arch that is specific to the Shortie, especially useful if fitted with our sea spray screen mounts this will add much needed protection from the elements. Check it out below!

Cyclone Radar Arch
Our custom fit radar arches host a number of benefits:
- Designed specifically to fit the Seahog Shortie cuddy, including flush baseplates to suit the cuddy roof.
- X3 Accessories plates to fit anchor lights, VHF ariels, Radar reflectors and radar units themselves.
- Rod holders to safely stow rods and nets while underway to marks and wrecks etc.
- Side plates with "Shortie" laser cut in with enough space to fit navigation lights.

Some Seahog Shorties have an arch pre fitted, which provides an excellent platform to upgrade your rod storage and avoid tangled messes on the deck while underway!
Our twin locked adjustable & removable rod holders are an ideal solution for rod storage.
- Rod stopper welded underneath to take the weight.
- Rubber insert to protect the rod and provide extra hold on the rod.
- Twin M6 stainless clamp down for an extremely tight grip on the rail.
- Optional upgrade from Marine M6 locknut to an Aerotight® all stainless locknut.
